HOW TO STREAM GAMES WIRELESSLY FROM ANYWHERE

It’s an exciting time for tailgaters! Thanks to technology, bringing the game with you wherever you go has never been easier. We’ve teamed up with AT&T and their #Techgating campaign to help you stay connected in the freshest, fab way possible. And—breaking news—now cars are being designed to include a wifi hotspot—whaaaat! Mind blown. That means no need to drag out the satellite because you’re whole tailgate party will just be able to use their mobile device. However, I know we’re not all rushing out to purchase a brand new car, therefore we wanted to share with you what you can do immediately to set up you’re #techgating without breaking a sweat—or nail.

YOU ARE AT THE STADIUM ON A TABLET OR SMART PHONE—SET UP A PERSONAL HOTSPOT:

If you have a small car—or your truck is just too packed with bbq goodies, ice chests and lounge chairs—we recommend setting up a personal hotspot for your tablet or smart phone. This is your is your most easy-breezy, sleek and chic option. Plus, with a mobile hot spot such at the AT&T Unite Pro, you can connect up to 15 people on their own devices. That’s like 15 little mini personal TV’s for every tailgate fan! Doesn’t get much better than that! #ballin.

You’ll need:

• A mobile hotspot-capable smartphone.
• A Mobile Share or a DataPro 5GB data plan.
• Be in a 4G service area.

How to set it up:

Determine if your smartphone is mobile hotspot capable, and then create a mobile hotspot.
Go to our Device How-To Center here and select your device.
Under Device instructions select Connectivity options.
If Mobile hotspot:
1. Is listed, then you’re ready to connect. Select Mobile hotspot and follow the guide to launch the mobile hotspot.
2. Isn’t listed, then your smartphone doesn’t have a mobile hotspot feature.
Connect other devices over Wi-Fi. Your mobile hotspot network name and password can be found in the configuration menu of the mobile hotspot feature on your smartphone.

If your device isn’t capable, we recommend using the AT&T Unite Pro for only $49.99 *Activation fees may apply. 2-year contract pricing requires new activation and qualifying monthly data plan. See offer req’s.
